A fire broke out at a Russian oil depot near Crimea

Local Russian Telegram channels reported the fire, which engulfed a huge fuel tank in flames. The fire has been classified as the highest level of complexity.

The oil depot that caught fire is located in the Russian city of Taman, near the Crimea Bridge and the Kerch Strait. The depot is called “Tamanneftebaza”. Reports suggest that the fire was preceded by sounds of explosions.

According to the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, there have been no reported fatalities, injuries, or threats to the local population.
