To create a composition with an area of 265 square meters, employees of the Maintenance of public green spaces of the Obolon district planted more than 24 thousand flowers grown in their own greenhouse, in particular: coleus, marigolds, ageratum, salvia, dogwood, cineraria, begonia, chlorophytum, sulfinia, cannas, chrysanthemums.
As Oleksiy Korol, CEO of the “Kyivzelenbud”, notes, by Independence Day, a composition on today’s common theme will appear in every district of the capital.
“There will be installations dedicated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Patron the dog, through flowers we will show a colorful map of Ukraine and our love for Ukraine. In total, there will be more than 10 such locations in the capital, where we will plant 200,000 flowers grown in the greenhouses of our district enterprises,” – Korol noted.
