A free training on how to provide first aid to animals will be held in Kyiv on August 14

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

It was noted in the message that on August 14, at 11:00 a.m., a training session on the topic “Providing first aid to animals” will begin in the “Exhibition Center” temporary shelter for animals. Specialists of the municipal enterprise “Kyiv City Hospital of Veterinary Medicine” will teach everyone who is willing to provide first aid to animals.

The training is free, everyone can take part in it, and pets are allowed. After the training, participants will be able to get a free consultation from a veterinarian on animal care, vaccinations and any other issues related to the pet’s health.

“The date of the workshop on August 14 was not chosen by chance: every second Sunday of August in Ukraine is celebrated the Day of Veterinary Medicine Workers. Therefore, on this day, we decided to conduct such a relevant and necessary training. Such knowledge can save the lives of four-legged friends. For a veterinarian, the most important thing is the saved animals, and teaching people to provide first aid to animals means “investing” in their saved lives in the future,” Nataliya Mazur, the acting director of Kyiv City Hospital of Veterinary Medicine.

Location: Akademika Glushkova Street, 1, 16th pavilion, Exhibition Center” the temporary shelter for animals “.
