AFU implementing NATO Logfas system to improve logistics

“To improve the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NATO Logfas system is being implemented, actively used at the level of brigades, and is scheduled to cover all of them by the end of the year. At the same time, Korovaj software was implemented to process the needs of the army. Among other things, this ensures proper transparency and control over the weapons and military equipment that Ukraine receives in the form of logistical support,” Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Facebook.

As noted, the Ministry of Defense is in close contact with American partners and recently demonstrated the results of implementing these systems. Thanks to this, an unprecedented level of mutual trust is maintained, and all enemy attempts to block the arms supplies are futile, Reznikov emphasized.

In addition, he noted, an essential stage in the implementation of automated military control systems has been completed.

The minister specified that he had signed the order to adopt the Dzvin-AS automated system of the Operations Control Center on December 6. “Our military is extremely interested in strategic-level ACS and has been waiting for its full deployment for a long time,” he added.

Reznikov noted that the system successfully passed departmental trials in the spring of 2022, followed by state trials. By now, all formal procedures are completed, the strategic-level ACS was officially adopted “and will work in the interests of the Armed Forces”, and then the General Staff will make a decision on the parameters of its scaling, he said.

The Ministry of Defense also received a positive expert opinion on the Integration Platform Delta special software system. This is an important stage in the formalization of the platform according to the approved roadmap. Next, a cycle of official trials will take place, and a decision on adoption will be made based on their results, the minister informed.

In his opinion, given the long-term security and defense challenges, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine should become one of the digital development leaders. According to the minister, this task will be solved by increasing the competencies of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, as well as by implementing policies to promote public-private partnership in this field.

Reznikov stressed that the enemy could be defeated only with high-quality defense forces. “The impact of more perfect logistics and efficient ACS on the military operations is not less than that of a dozen MLRS. This will save the lives of our soldiers and bring victory closer,” Reznikov summed up.
