Another 36 Ukrainians released from Russian captivity

As Yermak posted on Telegram, “the guys who defended Mariupol at the Azovstal steelworks, the National Guard members who were captured at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Russia” are among those freed.

In total, 22 National Guard members, eight border guards, four soldiers of the Naval Forces, and one soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned home.

The freed civilian had his leg amputated.

The Head of the President’s Office thanked the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War for the job done.

As reported, three servicemen of a separate marine infantry battalion returned home from Russian captivity the other day.
