Another bridge restored in Kharkiv region

“The occupiers destroyed a bridge on the Pechenizke reservoir in the village of Martove, Chuhuiv district, when they were retreating in September. Now the object has been restored. The day before, traffic along the bridge was resumed,” Oleh Synegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

As he noted, this bridge will greatly facilitate the transportation of humanitarian aid and medicines to the residents of the affected settlements and the territories of the region liberated from the Russian invaders.

“Experts of the State Enterprise ‘Roads of Kharkiv Region’ performed a large amount of work: they dismantled destroyed structures, erected new beams, reinforced and concreted the new monolithic slab and sidewalks, installed waterproofing, and laid a new asphalt surface,” he noted.

The Kharkiv region governor added that the works are ongoing in the region to restore other objects that were destroyed by the Russian invaders.

As reported, Chernihiv region has already received six bridges from France, which are being installed for arranging river crossings.

In total, the Russian invaders destroyed 33 bridges and overpasses in Chernihiv region, damaged more than 1,100 km of roads.
