As a result of the rocket attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian landing ship “Yamal” suffered critical damage

According to the MID, a breach in the upper deck of the ship caused it to list to the right side. Occupiers are continuously pumping water from the affected vessel, which had been involved in the occupation of Crimea and underwent repairs from 2017 to 2023. Further details of the attack on Russian military facilities are being clarified.

In addition to the vessels, the communication center and several infrastructure objects of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol were successfully targeted.

OSINT experts previously published satellite photographs from the sites of ship damage. They speculated that the Russian ships sustained minimal damage, but the port suffered due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack. In particular, the probable impact site can be observed on the ship “Azov.”

Recall that on March 24, the Defense Forces of Ukraine targeted the Russian large landing ships “Yamal” and “Azov,” the communication center, and several infrastructure objects of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
