This was reported by the Air Force.
They specified that the “Shaheds” flew from two directions: from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia and from Cape Chauda to the occupied Crimea.
In total, 24 combat UAVs were detected heading towards the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. 18 combat drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense along their flight path.
The Air Force also added that launches of cruise missiles from strategic bombers Tu-95MS were carried out by the occupiers from the Volgograd region.
Eight aircraft were deployed, and 17 cruise missiles of the X-101/X-555/X-55 type were launched. All 17 of them were destroyed by the Air Force in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
It’s worth noting that on the night of September 18th, Russians also attacked the Kherson region, resulting in civilian casualties.
Additionally, during this night, Russian occupiers shelled Nikopol, Myrivska, and Marganetska communities with heavy artillery.
