Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Unified Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, reported this on “KYIV24” TV channel.
“A powerful wind bothered the Shahed UAVs, but this wind was not as strong as the threat itself. There were more audio-visual effects that hindered the air defense forces from detecting the drones. It made things difficult. However, 8 Shahed drones were destroyed over the Odessa region, 2 over the Mykolaiv region, and 6 over the Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, there were hits in Kryvyi Rih. The municipal and transportation enterprises were affected. Even if you believe in the capabilities of the air defense forces, you still need to take shelter”, said Humeniuk.
Earlier, we reported that explosions occurred in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, on the night of Friday, July 14, during an announced air alarm due to the threat of enemy attacks using missiles and combat drones.
