“Today, President of the IOI, Western Australian Ombudsman Chris Field and Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman Robert Behrens arrived in Ukraine on an official visit at my invitation. The delegation visited Ukraine on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, which will be marked on December 10,” Lubinets said.
He emphasized that despite the recommendations of the governments of their countries not to visit the territory of Ukraine due to the risk of war escalation and other difficulties that could arise, Field and Behrens still decided to come.
According to Lubinets, members of the delegation have supported Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and their personal visit is a confirmation of unwavering support and unity in the struggle for the rights of Ukrainian citizens.
