Austria’s Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology, Leonore Gewessler, stated that Austria is a neutral country, but it is obligated to stand on the side of humanity in this war.
The financial aid will be used to purchase essential spare parts, generators, and repair power lines.
It was previously reported that Austria is allocating 21.5 million euros from its Foreign Disaster Fund for humanitarian aid in various parts of the world. Additionally, 2 million euros will be provided for humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
