The tanks and other heavy equipment deployed to the border with Lithuania belong to the 120th brigade, according to the Belarusian monitoring group “Belaruski Hayun”.
The group reports that the equipment arrived overnight at the Goodogai station, which is located 9 km from the border with Lithuania. The convoy consisted of at least 20 units of heavy equipment, including 10-15 T-72B/B3 tanks, APCs, BMPs, and MT-LBs.
“According to our data, the equipment belongs to the 120th brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus (based in Uruchcha, Minsk), and the convoy left yesterday evening”, they added.
As previously reported, Belarus received aviation and Iskander missiles from Russia capable of carrying tactical nuclear strikes.
