Political analyst Oleh Lisny made this statement in an interview with KYIV24.
“I consider Belarus to be a full participant in Russia’s war against Ukraine. In my opinion, it should receive mirrored sanctions in relation to Russia. There are no other options. Therefore, the real Belarusian opposition demands such actions against the Lukashenko regime. It is logical that Ukrainians demand exactly the same approach. These sanctions against Belarus – concerning air travel and dual-use goods – are a positive step. The issue of potassium fertilizers has not been raised yet. It will be addressed in the autumn. What happened is rather positive than negative”, he said.
As a reminder, during military exercises involving Belarusian armed forces, the Wagner Private Military Company is recruiting people willing to fight against Lithuania and Poland.
