“Josep Borrell called me to express his admiration and respect for Ukraine’s defense forces as they liberate more territories from Russian occupation. He explored further ways for the EU to help Ukraine and bring peace closer. I requested weapons, sanctions, and financial aid,” Kuleba responded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting a successful counteroffensive on the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine. Some Western politicians called for increased military aid to Ukraine based on its counteroffensive.
Earlier, White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, said that Ukraine is waging a fierce struggle to liberate its territories, and condemned Russia’s missile attacks on energy infrastructure.
