According to Wallace, the first helicopter has already arrived in Ukraine. In the last six weeks, Ukrainian crews were trained in the UK to fly and maintain the aircraft.
Moreover, Sea King helicopters will provide search and rescue capabilities.
The Sea King was previously used by both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, with the last craft being retired by the Navy in 2018.
Wallace also noted that Britain will additionally send 10,000 artillery shells to Ukraine to help the Armed Forces secure the recently liberated territory.
