Britain hands 9,000 Ukrainian troops kits ahead of winter

The press service of the General Staff reported this on Facebook with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

“Nearly 9000 Ukrainian recruits have been issued 40+ items of standard and winter kit from the British Army to prepare them for the difficult winter ahead,” the statement reads.

The General Staff thanked their British colleagues for their support and assistance to the Armed Forces.

On October 5, the training of junior commanders of the Armed Forces began in Great Britain, which includes classes on leadership, psychological, methodical, fire, technical, and tactical training.

Since September, Lithuania has joined the international training program launched by the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
