This was reported by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Li Huiwei, China’s special representative for Eurasian affairs, starting from March 2, will visit Russia, the EU headquarters, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, and France to conduct the second round of shuttle diplomacy to facilitate a political resolution of the Ukrainian crisis”, the statement said.
Recall that on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, a meeting took place between Kuleba and Wan I. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that the ministers discussed a range of issues, including bilateral relations, trade, and the need to establish a fair and sustainable peace in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the Chinese side assured that it does not supply weapons to Russia. The Chinese Ministry emphasized that Wan I expressed Beijing’s “principled position” on the “Ukrainian issue” (as the war of Russia against Ukraine is called in China) and insisted on promoting peace and negotiations, as well as refraining from “adding fuel to the fire”.
