President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced this on October 2.
Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Cyprus for joining the Vilnius Declaration of the G7 on security guarantees for Ukraine. He noted that Cyprus is the 30th country to join.
“We will continue to strengthen European security together and deepen our bilateral cooperation”, he added.
It’s worth noting that on October 18, Ukraine and Norway agreed to start negotiations on security guarantees for Ukraine based on the Vilnius Declaration of the G7 countries.
