Due to Russian shelling of the Kherson region, 21 civilians were killed in one day

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Facebook post.

“The world must see and know this. The train station and crossing, a residential building, a construction store, a grocery store, a gas station – do you know what unites these places? The bloody trail left by Russia’s shells, killing peaceful people in Kherson and the Kherson region”, the head of the Ukrainian state wrote.

He noted that as of 21:10, 21 deaths and 48 injuries were known.

“All civilians! In just one incomplete day! In one region! My condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. We will never forgive the guilty. We will defeat the evil country and make all the guilty parties accountable!”, Zelensky added.

It should be noted that on the morning of May 3, Russian forces began massive shelling of the city of Kherson and settlements in the region.
