This information was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
In the early hours of September 11, 2023, the Russians conducted an attack using Shahed-136/131 UAVs from the southeast direction (Yeysk, Prymorsk-Akhtarsk). Launches of 12 “Shaheds” were detected in the direction of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
To repel the enemy’s strike, anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, and mobile fire groups were deployed. As a result of the combat operations carried out by the Air Force in cooperation with air defense and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, 12 “Shahed-136/131” drones were destroyed within the territory of the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions, as well as one unidentified UAV.
It is worth noting that during the night of September 10, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 33 “Shaheds,” and Ukrainian Air Defense Forces successfully shot down 26 drones.
