“Since February, the EU has shipped over 77,000 tonnes of in-kind assistance to Ukraine. This includes life-saving supplies such as medicine, food, shelter items. As well as fire-fighting vehicles and mobile hospitals. Europe’s solidarity with Ukraine is only growing stronger,” she wrote.
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, EU countries have taken in millions of Ukrainian refugees. The EU allocated more than EUR 19 billion in aid to Ukraine this year and agreed to provide EUR 18 billion in macro-financial assistance (MFA+) in 2023.
