Most of the territorial communities of the Kyiv region reported a need for wood biofuel. Currently, the communities need at least 649.4 thousand cubic meters, Deputy Chairman of KOVA Mykola Boyko said during the meeting of the Headquarters for the preparation of housing and communal services facilities and the fuel and energy complex.
By August 1, forestry enterprises together with local self-government bodies must provide a schedule — when and how much biofuel will be available in each community.
“Lists of needs continue to be formed. Today, he gave instructions to forest farms and heads of territorial communities to prepare for the heating season. By August 1, forestry companies together with local self-government bodies must provide a clear schedule — when and how much biofuel will be available in each community,” Boyko said.
In the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, it is noted that starting from July 1, forestry enterprises will not supply wood for technological needs. Today, all attention is focused on providing utilities, critical infrastructure facilities, and the population with the necessary fuel materials.
