France to deliver six more Caesar howitzers to Ukraine in coming weeks

This was announced by French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu on the air of LCI.

Earlier, President Emmanuel Macron promised to send these howitzers to Ukraine as part of military support.

“We will deliver them in the coming weeks. So far, we have delivered other types of artillery of the previous generation – TRF1 howitzers,” said Lecornu.

According to him, Paris will fulfill its promise, which was to send 24 Caesar howitzers to Ukraine.

He also emphasized that the military support of Ukraine does not make France a part of the conflict.

As earlier reported, French President Emmanuel Macron in October stated that France was considering providing Ukraine with new Caesar self-propelled howitzers.
