Germany has announced an updated aid package for Ukraine. The list of items can be found on the website of the German government.
The package will include Leopard 1 tanks, Marder armored personnel carriers, IRIS-T SLM air defense systems, mobile IRIS-T SLS surface-to-air missile systems, radar systems for air defense, Gepard anti-aircraft installations, and much more. In total, 8 IRIS-T SLMs (2 already in Ukraine), 12 IRIS-T SLSs, and an additional 18 Gepards will be supplied, in addition to the 34 that have already been delivered.
As it is known, at the beginning of May, it became known that Germany is preparing the largest aid package for Ukraine, amounting to over €2.7 billion. Additionally, Berlin will allocate €11 billion to Kyiv specifically for defense purposes.
