The ministry stated that Kyiv would receive an additional system as part of a military aid package worth 500 million euros, announced on May 30. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock emphasized that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense is crucial for protection.
Previously, it was reported that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived in Odesa on May 30 for an unannounced visit. In Odesa, he met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and announced a new weapons package worth over 500 million euros to aid Ukraine. This package will include Leopard tanks, missiles for IRIS-T air defense systems, drones, artillery ammunition, small arms cartridges, and spare parts for howitzers and armored vehicles.
