Germany to send 50 Dingo armored vehicles to Ukraine

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said this at a Bundeswehr conference on Thursday, September 15, citing Bild.

“Dingos have proven their effectiveness and will make a significant contribution to the protection of the military,” she said.

In addition, Germany plans to supply two MARS II multiple rocket launchers, including 200 rockets, to Ukraine.

The Dingo is an armored vehicle used for patrolling and reconnaissance. The Bundeswehr has more than 500 such vehicles in service.

In her speech, Lambrecht praised the successes of Ukraine in its fight against the Russian army in the Kharkiv region, which, she believes, “it has been able to achieve also with the help of German weapons.”

“The brave and successful conduct of operations by the Ukrainian armed forces shows how important it is to quickly provide Ukraine with additional military equipment,” she said.
