Germany will help Ukraine restore energy infrastructure

A relevant statement was made by German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze, reports citing ARD.

As noted, the assistance will include supply of generators, repair of power lines, water mains and gas pipelines.

“We will do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine survives this war,” Schulze added in an interview.

As reported, at the opening of the 5th German-Ukrainian Business Forum, Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Germany supported Ukraine’s full-fledged EU membership in the future, therefore, the reconstruction of the country should take place taking this prospect into account.
