Government approves draft Grant Agreement with Switzerland for railway infrastructure rehabilitation

The relevant statement was made by Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk on Telegram.

“The draft Grant Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Swiss Confederation regarding the Emergency Support Project on the improvement and rehabilitation of Ukraine’s railway infrastructure has been approved,” Melnychuk wrote.

In his words, the Grant Agreement is intended to raise funds, on preferential terms, required for the supply of rail fastening systems to meet the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, which were caused by Russian armed aggression.
