Greece has refused to provide Ukraine with air defense systems

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis commented on the decision, emphasizing that these systems are critical for the defense of their country’s airspace.

At the same time, officials stressed that Greece has surplus military equipment that it can provide to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Spain will deliver missiles for Patriot systems to Ukraine. According to government sources cited by the media, the decision to transfer a small number of missiles came after the Spanish Ministry of Defense refused to provide Ukraine with a battery deployed since 2013 on the border with Turkey and Syria.

Earlier, there was information that NATO and the EU are demanding European countries that have this American-made system to transfer them to Kyiv.
