This was stated by the Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadim Skibitsky, in a comment to RBK-Ukraine.
“The Russians have indeed depleted a significant stockpile of missile weapons. However, they have managed to organize production”, he noted.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized that the fragments of missiles used by the Russians indicate that these munitions were manufactured in the first quarter of 2023.
“At present, the Russians are capable of producing approximately 25 ‘Kalibr’ missiles per month, 35 units of the X-101, two units of ‘Kinzhals’ per month, and five ballistic missiles for the ‘Iskander-M'”, he said.
Earlier, we reported that the Russian armed forces have intensified missile strikes against Ukraine. In this way, they are trying to compel the Armed Forces of Ukraine to postpone their counteroffensive for several weeks or months. Russia is also using more munitions than usual in an attempt to weaken the Ukrainian air defense.
