“Humanitarian cargoes continue to arrive in Kherson region both from international organizations and from other regions of the country. Everybody unites in order to provide the residents of Kherson region with the most necessary,” the report reads.
During the meeting of the coordination headquarters on issues of de-occupied territories, it was agreed on new humanitarian convoys to the liberated territories.
“Kherson has recently received aid from UNICEF. The local population received hygiene kits, blankets, drinking water, sets of children’s clothes and generators. More than 80 tonnes of aid were delivered to the city from other charitable and volunteer organizations,” the report reads.
Aid centers and “Points of Invincibility” have opened in the region, where people can warm up, get hot drinks and food, charge their phones, and get access to the Internet.
As reported, a humanitarian convoy from UNICEF for city residents reached Kherson.
