In the Kyiv region, almost 1,000 graduates completed the school year with gold and silver medals

In the Kyiv region this year, the educational process ended in all institutions of general secondary education in the region, although without celebrations. Over 10,000 students received certificates of completion of general secondary education, according to an interview with the publication “My Kyivshchyna” by at. Yaroslava Trostyanska, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

According to her, in 2022, 10,986 students received certificates of completion of general secondary education, 694 of whom were awarded a gold medal, and 261 – a silver one.

Trostianska noted that the largest number of graduates who received awards are in the Boryspil and Bila Tsekva territorial communities.

Currently, all educational institutions are preparing for the start of the new 2022/2023 school year.
