The message noted that Kyiv residents and guests of the capital can see the calf antelope Manu in one of the outdoor enclosures of the Kyiv Zoo.
“The antelope grows quickly on its mother’s milk and already weighs about 30 kg. In addition to milk, Manu likes juicy green shoots and leaves. The calf antelope walks in an open enclosure with its parents and older sister Malta. Currently, Manu is getting used to its new place with caution, but it is already actively running and playing. Nilgai is the largest antelope family in Asia, these animals mostly eat woody plants,” the Kyiv Zoo said.
And they added that street exhibitions, bird lakes and an arboretum are available for visitors to view on the territory of the zoo. However, upon an air raid siren, guests must immediately leave the area and head to the nearest shelter.
