In the Office of the President of Ukraine, it was announced that the counteroffensive has already begun

This was reported by the advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, in an interview with the Italian television channel “Rai.”

“The counteroffensive has been ongoing for several days now, and there is intense warfare along the 1,500-kilometer border, but the actions have already begun. We will use the weapons we have been given to destroy the positions of Russia in the territories occupied by Moscow, including Donbas and Crimea”, Podoliak said.

The official noted that Ukraine will not strike the territory of Russia and emphasized that the F-16 fighters will enable them to close the airspace of Ukraine and achieve significant success.

“If we had them a year ago, the war would have already ended”, he said.

Earlier, we reported that the United States and its allies believe in the success of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. This was stated by the President of the United States, Joe Biden. He also reminded that the Russians have lost over one hundred thousand fighters in the battles for Bakhmut.
