This information comes from the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The majority of the restored medical facilities are located in the Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
The process of restoring the medical infrastructure remains a priority for the state today. This is because every patient in every corner of Ukraine should have unobstructed access to the necessary medical care. Despite systematic shelling and bombings by Russia, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with partners, continues to work on the restoration of the medical infrastructure.
In total, during over 19 months of full-scale war, the enemy damaged 1,449 healthcare facilities, with an additional 190 being completely destroyed beyond repair.
The most significant losses in terms of medical infrastructure were incurred by the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions.
