International support: Ukraine expects to receive about $12B by year-end

Serhiy Nikolaychuk, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, said this at a briefing.

“By the end of the current year, Ukraine expects to receive declared official financing totaling about $12 billion, including EUR 8 billion as macro-financial aid from the EU,” he said.

Ongoing international support will enable the NBU to maintain international reserves at a sufficient level in the coming years, Nikolaychuk added.

International partners have provided Ukraine with a total of $17.5 billion in aid since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion.
