This was announced by the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink.
Kharkiv will receive 50 voltage transformers, 9 current transformers, and 80 insulators for the energy distribution system operator. The necessary equipment was provided by USAID.
Bridget Brink stated that this equipment will help Kharkiv’s energy workers carry out urgent repair work on the city’s power grid, which has been damaged by Russian shelling.
It was also previously reported that the United States might announce a new military aid package for Ukraine by the end of this week. The administration of President Joe Biden aims to return to the previous schedule, where the reduction of U.S. ammunition and equipment stocks for Ukraine was announced approximately every two weeks.
