Kyiv City Council decided to evict the Russian embassy from the city

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this.

“Today, Kyiv City Council terminated the land lease agreement with the embassy of the aggressor country – Russia”, he said.

The deputies also appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the return of the property of the embassy building to the ownership of the Ukrainian state.

It should be noted that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine severed diplomatic relations with Russia. Later, Ukraine also terminated diplomatic relations with Syria and North Korea due to their recognition of the independence of the terrorist organizations “DNR” and “LNR”.
