In the capital, almost 2,000 children from preferential categories have already been sent for rehabilitation. This was reported by the director of the Department of Youth and Sports, Yulia Khan.
“The recovery of children from privileged categories is very important, especially in the current conditions, when many families need real support from the city government. We are aware of the need for children’s safe recreation, that is why such regions were chosen where there are no military or infrastructure facilities nearby. The city always takes a responsible approach to the choice of places of rest, but this time we were faced with an extremely difficult task, which we coped with,” Khan noted.
She also added that almost 4,000 children from privileged categories have the opportunity to rest in health camps in July-August, namely: children from large and low-income families; children of combatants; children, one of whose parents has been diagnosed with group I/II disability; deprived of parental care; orphans and semi-orphans; talented children; children who are registered at the dispensary; internally displaced persons; children deprived of parental care and children with disabilities.
