Nestle Corporation has been added to the list of international sponsors of the war

Swiss corporation Nestle is one of the world’s largest food product manufacturers, operating in 187 countries. Despite Russian aggression, Nestle continues to operate in Russia, supply goods to the aggressor, and expand its Russian production base.

NAPC reminded that Nestle produces instant coffee, mineral water, chocolate, ice cream, dairy products, baby food, pet food, and other goods. The company has more than 2,000 brands in its product line worldwide, ranging from legendary and globally recognized to popular local trade names. Some of the key brands include KitKat, Nescafé, Nesquik, Nestea, and others. As of the beginning of 2022, the Swiss corporation had seven factories in Russia.

“Even though the profit from the Russian market accounts for just a little over 2% of Nestle’s total business, the company has not yet dared to exit the market of the terrorist state. Nestle explains this by the need to provide the Russian population with essential goods and the concern for its Russian employees. Nestle employs over 7,000 people in Russia. This is significant support for the economy of the terrorist state”, NAPC stated.

It was also previously reported that the Italian group of companies Camozzi was added to the list of international sponsors of the war. The reason for this decision was that the concern still conducts business in Russia and cooperates with the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC). The Camozzi plant also continues its operations in temporarily occupied Crimea.
