“The situation with the power supply in Kyiv remains difficult. The main problem is not generation, but delivery of power to consumers. It is due to the destroyed networks and nodes that the majority of Kyiv residents cannot get light to their homes. Therefore, only emergency power outages are still in place, the duration of which cannot be regulated,” he said.
According to Popko, energy and repair crews and utility services are working around the clock to restore the country’s damaged power grid.
