As a result of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation in the Kyiv Region, the cultural heritage of the region was also destroyed. At least 84 objects of cultural heritage, 24 religious buildings and 16 monuments have been damaged. This is stated in the message of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

He noted that 4 religious buildings were destroyed during the hostilities, including the wooden Church of the Great Martyr St. George the Victorious in the village of Zavorichi in 1873 and the wooden Church of the Ascension in the village of Lukyanivka in 1879.
In addition, Kuleba noted, the Ivankiv Museum of History and Local History and the Museum of Local History of Borodyanka region were completely destroyed in the Kyiv Region, the Museum of Weaving in Obukhovichi, the Museum of History and Local History in Irpin and the National Museum-Reserve “Battle of Kyiv in 1943” were damaged. Part of the museum collection was also damaged in these institutions.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administraytion noted that the occupiers purposefully destroyed not only buildings, but also destroyed the carriers of Ukrainian cultural heritage: books, towels, national costumes, instruments, and other objects of local museum funds.
