Passenger train from Kyiv arrives in Mykolaiv for first time since Feb 24

Ukraine’s state rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Facebook.

“The first train to Mykolaiv left Kyiv on November 14. It will run on even numbers from the [Ukrainian] capital and on odd numbers from Mykolaiv. It will leave the capital at 22:14 and arrive in Mykolaiv at 07:15 the next day. In the return direction, the train will depart at 22:09 and arrive in Kyiv at 06:55,” the report said.

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, on his Telegram page invited Mykolaiv residents to buy tickets through the relevant applications.

According to the head of the train, Bohdan Stadnyk, there were about 50 passengers on the first train, among them railway workers, foreign journalists and volunteers of Doctors Without Borders and World Central Kitchen, according to Suspilne.
