This was announced by the company on its official website.
“The company has already delivered the first 20 of these combat vehicles to Ukraine at the request of the German government in March 2023. Since then, several batches have been provided, each of which has a double-digit number”, the statement said.
The publication noted that the delivery of this batch to Ukraine will take place during 2024.
Overall, over the past two years, the conglomerate has already transferred a three-digit number of Marder IFVs to Ukraine, and the future batch will be equipped with laser rangefinders, which will help the military more effectively destroy enemy targets.
Recall that on March 14, Rheinmetall announced its intentions to build factories in Ukraine. The company plans to establish at least four subsidiaries.
