Romania will provide Ukraine with over $800,000

Top News Media writes about it.

The Foreign Minister of Romania, Bogdan Aurescu, emphasized the need for ongoing support for Ukraine before the NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Brussels.

He stated that «if we want peace in the region and the Euro-Atlantic space, we must ensure that Ukraine wins this war».

Aurescu also expressed Romania’s support for the “open door policy” towards Ukraine’s NATO membership and stated that NATO should support other vulnerable partners in the region, such as Moldova.

Romania plans to allocate $750,000 for Moldova’s defense through the same NATO mechanism.

Aurescu invited his NATO colleagues to the Black Sea Security Conference, which Romania and Ukraine will host in Bucharest on April 13th. The conference is dedicated to regional security, lessons learned, and future predictions, and is the first of its kind within the international “Crimean Platform.”
