Russia accuses Ukraine of the Moscow terrorist attack. Zelensky’s reaction

When asked by a russian propagandist about who was responsible for the attack, Patrushev replied, “Of course, Ukraine!” dismissing the possibility of involvement by ISIS.

The Kremlin dictator also once again spoke about the Ukrainian trace in Crocus Hall. However, this time it was not about the so-called window on the border but about the organizers of the terrorist act. At a special meeting with heads of special services, the tyrant said that he already knew whose hands carried out the shooting. Now he is interested in who stood behind the radical Islamists. Putin considers those who have been fighting against Russia since 2014 to be the masterminds.

“It is necessary to answer the question of why the terrorists tried to flee to Ukraine after committing the crime in “Crocus”, who was waiting for them there”, – he claimed.

Volodymyr Zelensky called Putin a sick and cynical creature in response to accusations of Ukraine’s involvement in the terrorist attack in Russia. The President noted that Putin considers everyone terrorists except himself, although terror is fueled precisely by the Kremlin leader.

In Russia, there is talk of reinstating the death penalty. Russian MPs made such proposals after the terrorist attack at “Crocus”. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin made a speech stating that “neither the Constitution nor the criminal legislation has abolished the death penalty”. He reminded that the moratorium is in place as part of obligations to the Council of Europe, from which Russia is no longer a member.

Recall that on March 22, armed men walked through the halls of the “Crocus” concert hall near Moscow, shooting people who had come to a concert of a Russian band. Afterward, the attackers detonated a grenade. A fire broke out in one of the halls, which quickly spread to the building’s roof, causing it to collapse. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of at least 139 people, making it the deadliest attack in Russia in the last two decades.
