Russia has ‘rolled out’ a plan for turnout on the occupied territories for Putin’s pseudo-elections

This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.

“In Russia, as well as in the temporarily occupied territories, a propaganda show called ‘elections of the president of the Russian Federation’ is starting, the goal of which is to create collective responsibility for the crimes of the Kremlin”, the statement said.

The CNR notes that in order to demonstrate support from Russians for Putin’s policies and “legitimize” the occupation of the temporarily occupied territories, propagandists are “fabricating” attendance figures. Russian officials have tasked all collaborators with ensuring a certain attendance rate from each enterprise or institution. At the same time, the leaders were warned that thanks to video surveillance with facial recognition systems at the polling stations, it will be known whether the plan has been executed, and consequences were threatened in case of its non-compliance.

It is worth recalling that in March, pseudo-elections of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will take place in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and preparations for this process are currently underway in the region.

From February 25, “early voting” in the pseudo-presidential elections of the Russian Federation, which the occupiers have illegally organized and are campaigning for people to vote for the Kremlin tyrant Putin, begins in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine called on Ukrainians in the occupied territories not to assist Russians in organizing pseudo-elections.
