This was stated by Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, reports Russian propaganda information agency TARS.
“Preventing Ukraine from joining NATO, as before, is one of its goals. Ukraine’s accession to the alliance poses a serious and significant danger to our country”, said Peskov.
It is worth noting that today, on April 20, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv.
Also, it should be noted that, on April 6, the Lithuanian parliament adopted a resolution for the NATO summit in Vilnius, which includes an official invitation for Ukraine to join the alliance.
