This was revealed by the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with “Ukrainska Pravda.”
“If we assess their economy, Russia can afford the war until 2025 without any significant problems. In terms of equipment, it can last until 2026 at the maximum, maybe slightly less because the pace of equipment restoration is not as high currently”, he stated.
Budanov emphasized that Russia has an adequate supply of human resources for the conflict. However, he also underlined that Ukraine has not exhausted its military potential.
“But let anyone say what they want, if we assess our human resources as a whole, we have them for a long time. Our country is not that small”, he added.
At the same time, according to the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Russian army is facing a shortage of ammunition and weaponry.
Budanov believes that the world was unprepared for a war of such intensity, and now all countries will be trying to increase their arsenals.
It’s worth noting that on October 11, the President of Ukraine stated that the final stage of the war is currently ongoing.
