Quote: “On 29 August 2022, during the evacuation we obtained information that the ‘government’ of the occupied territories of Kharkiv Oblast is forcing all local residents to send their children to school.

The fake government has threatened all families with children that if they fail to send them to school this September, the children will be taken from their families by force.”

Details: Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office in Kharkiv Oblast has started an investigation into criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war.

Background: Studying will resume in an online-only format in the areas near the Ukrainian-Russian border in Rivne, Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.
